How Do You Use the Andi Component?

The Andi UA technology operates on several levels to enable maximum accessibility of the website, both through an accessibility menu and through integration with various site components.

An accessibility menu is installed on the website. To open the menu, you can click the icon located at the top of the website or press the F10 key on your keyboard. To close the menu, click the close button or press ESC on the keyboard.
Press F1 to return to this page from anywhere on the website.

When entering the menu for the first time, you can choose the interface language (supports multiple languages) and your preferred display size. At any stage, you can change your settings using the settings button located at the top of the menu.

Clicking the “Enable Accessibility” button will open the accessibility menu, which consists of two parts:

Main Menu

Text Size

Allows you to select and change the size of the text displayed on the website, either through a magnifying glass that provides localized, user-controlled magnification, and/or through automatic enlargement and reduction of text across the entire site at the click of a button.

Colors

Allows you to select and change the site’s colors and create a personal customization from a set of colors, by changing the background colors of the site, the site headings, or the site text. Alternatively, you can change the contrast across the entire website at the click of a button.

How to Perform Personal Customization

After selecting the background, heading, or text color, confirm your selection by clicking V. The selected color will then be marked on the right side of the selection box.

Mouse Accessibility

Allows changing the mouse cursor color to black or white.

Find the Mouse

Allows you to locate the mouse position on the screen by pressing the CTRL key.

Underline Links

Allows links on the website to be identified not only by color, but also by underlining the link.

Change Font to a More Readable Font

The ARIEL font is defined as the most readable font according to accessibility regulations.
The font conversion button allows the site owner to maintain design freedom in font selection while giving users with disabilities the option to change the font to ARIEL across the entire site at the click of a button.

Enable Accessibility Menu with Right Mouse Click

Activating this option changes the right mouse button settings so that clicking it anywhere on the website opens a shortened accessibility menu with the main actions. This function can be disabled at the bottom-left of the menu opened via right-click.

Reset All Customizations

Returns the website to its default settings.

  • Focus color adjustment according to background

  • Virtual keyboard for form completion (can be displayed for mouse-assisted input enlargement)

  • Hiding the mouse cursor while typing

If the mouse cursor is positioned over a form field during typing, Andi will hide it until typing is complete.

Quick Navigation Between Article Headings
